Charlie's Hope  was created in memory of a true soul cat, Charlie. He was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation when he was diagnosed with FIP in 2020. He was the very first cat treated by these compounded meds.

 

Since then, many cats have been saved using GS to treat FIP. Sady, Charlie ended up passing away from a rare form of cancer. His memory lives on in all the cats this work has helped saved since then.

 

Charlie’s Hope is a not-for-profit program created specifically to sponsor FIP treatment for cats whose caretakers cannot otherwise afford to be treated. We believe that EVERY FIP cat deserves a fighting chance!

 

Due to our limited funding from anonymous donors, you will need to meet all of the following criteria in order to qualify for sponsorship from Charlie's Hope:

 

• Be unable to afford even the least expensive treatment options available through FIP Warriors® recommended brands

• Create an online  fundraiser and share weekly on social media

• Add Dr. Scaletti to your FIP Warriors® treatment chat for support & monitoring

• Take the cat for regular vet visits and scheduled blood work at the beginning of, after about 6 weeks of and at the end of the minimum 12 weeks of FIP treatment

• Be able to administer all needed medications to your cat and to provide supportive care as recommended by your vet and FIP Warriors® admin team

• Sign the Charlie's Hope waiver of liability

• Be kind at all times - we are not available 24/7 and we will do everything we can with the limited resources available

 

EXCLUSIONS:

Cats located in Texas.

Cats that have been treated with brands that offer a guarantee or have been treated with the Harmony brand (as they have their own sponsorship program).
